Other iced or cold coffee contain more than 450 calories and the majority in excess of 200, a report generated by The World Cancer Research Fund (WCRF). A survey done on some popular brands of coffee chains to indicate the calorie count which links obesity with cancer.
According to Nutrionists, an average woman should consume about 2,000 calories a day and a man about 2,500 calories to maintain a healthy weight. While people on diet should aim for 1,000 to 1,500 calories a day.
But people generally ignore the calories of a drink as compared to solid food. They generally consume cold coffee before a meal or after a meal by hardly knowing the fact that it contains almost quarter of daily calories to be consumed.

The fattening devils present in cold coffee are: cream, chocolate sauce and sugar syrup.
Then how to avoid these extra calories?
As sometimes it is unavoidable to control your visits to these outlets as these are the places to hang out with your friends and moreover some business meetings are also taking place in these places. The idea is to choose that drink which contain less calories and these are:

These are the low calorie versions of cold coffee which contains less or no cream. Moreover for diet conscious people now they are customizing their drinks in which you can opt for skimmed or no milk or soy milk.
