As per ayurveda drinking 1-2 glasses of lukewarm water early morning keeps one healthy and relieves one from acidity. In case of acute acidity you can try to vomit out the water to remove the acid accumulated overnight in the stomach.
Just suck one cardamom for 10-15 minutes for instant relief. You can even boil in 1 glass of water and drink the water when it cools down.
